5 Questions to Ask Your Photographer Before You Take Sexy Boudoir Pictures
Sexy boudoir photography sessions can be intimidating, especially if this is your first one. You can alleviate some of your nerves simply by having a conversation with the photographer. Here are some questions you should ask while you're at it.
What should I wear?
The beautiful thing about sexy boudoir pictures is that you can wear whatever you want! Whether you're looking for completely nude boudoir photos, topless boudoir photos, classy boudoir photos, or lingerie photography, the world is your oyster. You can bring your own outfits and we will send you a lingerie guide once your session is booked. We always suggest to bring more than what’s needed and we will choose the best options once you get here. Our clients always feel very prepared and well informed about what to bring before their boudoir session. We have a lingerie closet with pieces for our client to borrow in case something in their wardrobe isn’t working out!
Do you provide hair and makeup services?
You probably want to get all dolled up for your sexy boudoir pictures, so getting your hair and makeup done is a must. Most studios will provide these services for you, and Demi Girl definitely does so you can look your best and feel amazing during your photoshoot.
When will I get my photos?
After the shoot, you're not going to receive your sexy boudoir pictures right away. You will need to schedule an images reveal after your session to select your favorite images from a gallery. We usually schedule this appointment within a week of your shoot. If you're coming from more than two hours away, we will accommodate you and schedule a same day image reveal! Then, the editing process will start. We like clients to book 6-8 weeks in advance but if something is needed within a few weeks we can always rush the order!
Will you give me direction with posing?
You've never done a sexy boudoir photography shoot like this before, and you're not sure how to pose. That's okay! We will help you every step of the way. We’ve photographed over 500 women and will help pose you from head to toe. Boudoir photography is our specialty so rest assured, you're in good hands.
Will my photos be published?
We have many sexy boudoir photographs on our website and they came from someone, right? Most photographers will talk to you about this beforehand, but make sure you bring it up. If you don't want your photos to be published, say something and get it worked into your contract. We have all of our clients sign a release if they don’t mind letting us share their images. If you’d like to keep them completely private, that’s an option as well!
